As Christine evolves from a Remedial Massage Therapist to a Myotherapist, her business is naturally evolving too. While this transition launched slightly earlier than planned, the practice is outgrowing the 'Kaizen Healing Arts' identity. It is stepping into a more dynamic, highly clinical space. This evolution features a newly renovated treatment room and advanced manual therapies designed to dramatically enhance the efficacy of her remedial treatments.
As a dedicated Student Myotherapist, Christine is learning advanced clinical techniques weekly and utilising them on the table immediately. Holding a Diploma of Remedial Massage (DipRM), she is fully qualified, insured, and health fund accredited right now. The shift to Kaizen Myotherapy reflects a practitioner who refuses to wait for a graduation ceremony to offer her Central Coast clients the most cutting edge, evidence based care available.

We offer a range of modalities designed to meet your needs. We specialise in Connective Tissue Therapy and Manual Therapy integration in our treatments, however, we can scale it back, we work with what you present with on the day. The fascia communicates what and where needs time and attention. Christine listens and actions as per instruction from the client and what the body is feeding back to her.
-
Clinical bodywork is a type of integrative therapeutic remedial massage. It is a blend of different massage and manual therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each client in a single session. Instead of following one set method, I draw from a range of modalities, such as remedial, myofascial release, deep tissue, relaxation, shiatsu, traditional Chinese medicine. Christine will focus her attention to adapt to the body that she is working on rather than making an assumption. She investigates and treats according to need. It is often referred to it as integrative because it considers the whole fascial perspective, not just isolated symptoms.

Remedial Massage can often support people with medical conditions, but safety comes first. Please disclose any conditions, medications, or recent injuries so your treatment can be adapted. I may request further permission via a note from a GP or physio for record keeping purposes

Rates start at $120 incl GST. Our sessions are inclusive of any of the modalities on offer for the time we are scheduled for. We offer flexible consultation types, after your initial session we can determine which treatment plan and options work best for you and your needs. Christine is looking at incorporating a treatment plan options for 4-6-8week session blocks. Additionally, she is brainstorming a subscription model of some kind, however at the moment it is still very much a concept.

Tentatively my books for mobile massages are closed whilst I focus my energy and intentions to building my clinic treatment room at Gee Recovery Berkeley Vale. Christine would be open to it on a case by case basis. Please enquire if this is something you would like.

The NDIS generally does not fund stand-alone RMT’s, if the provider is solely a qualified massage therapist. The NDIS however, may fund remedial massage if it is provided by an allied health professional (such as an allied health physiotherapist or Myotherapist) and is directly related to the primary disability.
At the moment Christine is a stand-alone Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) and does not see NDIS Participants at this time.
