Evolving Excellence
The foundations of this practice began over fifteen years ago in the demanding clinical landscape of New York, where Christine operated as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) after beginning her studies in Chinese Medicine in 2006.
Upon relocating to Australia in 2019, these global insights were anchored into the launch of Kaizen Healing Arts. Driven by a commitment to continuous clinical evolution, Christine returned to advanced study to embark on the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. During this pivotal time of growth, the practice naturally matured, transitioning from Kaizen Healing Arts into what it is today: Kaizen Myotherapy, an evidence-based sanctuary for advanced myofascial and neuropathic care established in 2026.
Clinical Clarity & Empowerment
The Client Partnership. We believe that true physical freedom requires transparency and education. We break away from clinical jargon to provide clear, actionable insights into your structural restrictions, postural patterns, and nervous system tone. By equipping you with a thorough understanding of your own body, we shift the dynamic from a passive treatment into an empowered somatic partnership, giving you the practical tools to confidently manage your baseline mobility.
Gratitude
The Foundational Compass. Gratitude is the quiet anchor of our entire practice. We hold a profound reverence for the human body's innate wisdom, its incredible capacity to adapt, and its constant movement toward healing. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in our hands, treating your physical story as sacred ground. This appreciation infuses our clinic with warmth, allowing us to guide you away from defensive physical guarding and into a space of true homeostatic peace.
Intentional Integrity
The Treatment Standard. We pair absolute clinical intentionality with a baseline of radical integrity. Every specific structural technique, fascial decompression, and neurophysiological reset is chosen with conscious purpose, never applied on autopilot. We operate with transparent honesty, respecting your body’s boundaries and ensuring that our collaborative care is entirely authentic, scientifically grounded, and deeply aligned with your long-term wellness.
About Christine
My journey began when I started studying Chinese Medicine in 2006. This was where I saw and experienced first hand the transformative effect of wholistic medicine bridging into clinical practice, forever reshaping my perspective on how I assess and treat my clients. Every day, I am inspired by the body's extraordinary and often underestimated ability to repair itself. I am endlessly fascinated by the intuitive wisdom held within our cells, their memory and their capacity for truly amazing things. I am also a self-confessed nerd for fascia, its ever-fascinating qualities, and its unique ability to change its molecular structure with applied heat, pressure, and time.
My work as a therapist is to facilitate a clear pathway, empowering my clients to unlock their own innate potential, alchemise it, and integrate it into their daily lives. I cannot emphasise enough my commitment to client-centred care. To me, this means active listening, genuine empathy, and crafting a customised experience tailored to your unique needs, rather than a generic protocol. The concept of "Repair, Realign, Rise" came originally from my practice when it was born, it represents a deeply personal journey of transmutation that I, too, am undergoing. This is my calling, and I look forward to sharing it with you.
I also want to thank you for your enduring patience while I navigate my Advanced Diploma and transition from Kaizen Healing Arts to Kaizen Myotherapy. This change is truly an evolution rather than a severing of my professional identity. I love that the foundation of my practice was forged in the healing arts; however, it is so much more than that now, and I wanted my new name to reflect this clinical growth accordingly.
